Dr. Bamisaye Olaofe Oyawaluja

I am a lecturer and researcher specializing in Natural Products Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Drug Discovery. My research focuses on identifying bioactive compounds from natural sources with therapeutic potential, particularly against infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases and cancer. I combine phytochemistry, spectroscopy, computational chemistry and analytical methods to support drug development and quality assurance. As an educator, I am passionate about mentoring students and promoting innovation in pharmaceutical sciences. My long-term goal is to establish a research center dedicated to natural product-based drug discovery, fostering collaboration and advancing healthcare through scientific innovation
