Personal Statement
I am a researcher and formulation scientist passionate about providing health solutions to the populace through the development and availability of safe and effective medicines for the treatment of diseases. My research focuses on developing novel targeted delivery systems for new and existing anticancer, anti-infective, and contraceptive medicines utilizing tools in nanotechnology and biotechnology. I am keen on developing medicines from natural products for commercial use. My goal is to make available through collaborative research safe medicines with improved efficacy in the field of contraceptive, cancer, and infection management, with the long-term goal of improving prognosis and contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goal of ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being of the populace. I also participate in enlightening people on the appropriate use of medicines through research and community engagement.
