Personal Statement

As an academic clinical pharmacist, a currently work closely with the clinicians and health industry leveraging on collaborations established. My research work focuses on measuring and monitoring renal outcomes in non-communicable or chronic diseases with a bias for chronic kidney disease. I hope to bridge the gap between pharmacist and clinicians by collaborating in research activities that are translatable to practice and patient care. I also have a passion for medical data analysis using available software for data visualization and policy decision making. My goal is to use the knowledge gained in the course of my research improve renal outcomes in patients at risk and also to mentor other intending researchers in the field of clinical pharmacy.
